- Will my insurance pay for Physical Therapy?
- We accept most major insurances.
Contact your insurance company customer service for details on
coverage for "short–term out-patient physical therapy."
- Do you accept HAS or HRA debit cards or credit cards?
- Yes, bring your card with you at time of your visit.
Debit cards must have a Visa or Master Card logo.
- What if I do not have insurance?
- In the case that no Health Insurance Benefits are available
for your Physical Therapy services, Self–Pay arrangements can be
made with our office. Contact us before scheduling to discuss private
pay option and rates.
- What should I bring to my Physical Therapy appointment?
- Downloaded Forms, Insurance card, appropriate
referral, co–payment, comfortable clothing that allows the
therapist to access your injured area and footwear for walking.
- What should I bring if I am getting Custom Orthotics made?
- Bring any previous orthotics (made by us or elsewhere), worn
footwear for inspection, and shorts for evaluation. Please be prepared
to leave the footwear that the orthotics with be fit to.
- My Physician wants me to go to a different Physical Therapy clinic.
Can I still come to Advantage?
- Yes, you may choose who you wish to go to for your Physical Therapy.

By Massachusetts State Law, Physical Therapists have "Direct Access"
meaning a Physical Therapist may provide services independent of
physician prescription. Most insurance companies require a referral
from a Doctor, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. Some
insurances require referral from your PCP only.
