Sharon Lamb, PT, SCS, ATC

Sharon founded Advantage Sports Medicine  in 1990.  She is a graduate of the University of Lowell, Physical Therapy, 1985 and became certified as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association in 1985.  Sharon is an American Physical Therapy Association Board Certified specialist in Sports Physical Therapy. She has completed ImPACT  PTAT Concussion certification and is an Administrator for ImPACT Concussion testing.  Sharon currently continues her education in the area of Concussion Rehabilitation.  Sharon has lectured on ACL rehabilitation and has completed advanced study in Canine Physical Therapy. Sharon is an avid mountain biker and she is an active NEMBA member.  

Joyce Lockert,  PT, DPT, OCS, SCS, ATC           

Joyce has been with Advantage since its origin in 1990. A graduate of Quinnipiac College in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training (1985), Joyce completed an Advanced Masters in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and Doctor in Physical Therapy from the MGH-Institute of Health Professions, Boston (1993, 2003). Joyce is an APTA Board Certified Specialist in both Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy. She has been certified as an Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association since 1987. She has completed ImPACT  PTAT Concussion certification and is an Administrator for ImPACT concussion testing. Joyce is a Certified Clinical Instructor by the APTA. She serves as Center Coordinator of Clinical Education (CCCE) for Advantage overseeing clinical instruction for students in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. Joyce is published in text and in the APTA's professional journal: Physical Therapy, in the areas of Gait and Balance. She specializes in the rehabilitation of orthopedic and sport injuries, biomechanical evaluation, and the fabrication of custom orthotics. Joyce is a certified Professional Ski Instructor with the Professional Ski Instructors Association (alpine, telemark).  She also supports the NEMBA.

Marc DeAngelo, ATC, LAT
Marc joined the Advantage team in December 2012. He completing his BS in Athletic Training and Master's of Science in Management at Merrimack College. He is a Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer, and a licensed Athletic Trainer in the state of Massachusetts.
He has completed the ImPACT  ITAT program and is an Administrator for ImPACT concussion testing. He is CPR/AED certified for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers. Marc provides Athletic Training services to Stoneham High School. During Marc’s undergraduate studies, he was a member of the Merrimack College Football team and donated his time volunteering with Merrimack’s Stevens Service Learning Center. Prior to joining the Advantage team, Marc completed a Research Assistantship with the Salem State University Athletic Training Education Program collecting and recording data for the Datalys Center’s USA Football Youth Football Safety Study. He is an active member of the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association (EATA) and National Athletic Trainers’ Association (NATA). He is also a Certified Baseball Umpire by the Massachusetts Baseball Umpire Association (MBUA) and a member in good standing of the MBUA.
